CVT Assembly Dismounting and Remounting: Notes

CAUTION: If the transaxle assembly is tilted with the torque converter end down, the torque converter can fall off the transaxle, which could cause personal injury. Be sure to keep the transaxle assembly horizontal or tilted with the torque converter end up throughout the operation.
When replacing CVT assembly, all learned controls which are stored in TCM memory should be erased after the replacement, see TCM INITIALIZATION AND LEARNING CONTROL .
Neglecting this initialization may cause excessive shift shock.
