Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Installation

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (See PRECAUTION ).

HINT:

The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the driver and front passenger sides, unless otherwise specified.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)
1. Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.
  Torque: 41 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE: Do not place the front seat inner belt over the convex areas of the front seat with frame adjuster.

2. Install the wiring harness onto the claw of the front seat cushion shield.
3. Engage the wiring harness clamp.
4. Connect the buckle switch connector.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)
1. Connect the connector to the seat position airbag sensor.

2. Install the front seat inner belt with the bolt.
  Torque: 41 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE: Do not place the front seat inner belt over the convex areas of the front seat frame adjuster.

3. Install the wiring harness onto the claw of the front seat cushion shield.
4. Engage the wiring harness clamp.
5. Engage the 2 wiring harness clamps.

6. Connect the buckle switch connector.
7. Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat cushion cover pad.
8. Install the front seatback cover band.

INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Driver Side) (See REASSEMBLY )
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side) (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
1. Push in the lock button of the front seat headrest support and install the front seat headrest.

INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
