Rear Combination Light Short-Cord Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Detach the entire trunk side trim from the body. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the rear turn light bulb or the rear combination light short - cord. (See REAR TURN LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
