Rear Combination Light Short-Cord Inspection

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Trunk covering (See TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Trunk side pocket (See TRUNK SIDE POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    6. Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Detach the entire trunk side trim from the body. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the rear combination light short-cord. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SHORT-CORD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Verify that the continuity between the rear combination light short-cord terminals is as indicated in the table.
