Trunk Side Trim Removal/Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Rear package tray (Refer to REAR PACKAGE TRAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Trunk board (with trunk board) (Refer to TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Trunk covering (Refer to TRUNK COVERING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Bass-box (with Bose ®) (Refer to BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Trunk box (Refer to TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Trunk end trim (Refer to TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Rear seat cushion (Refer to REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. Rear seat back (Refer to REAR SEAT BACK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
9. Rear scuff plate (Refer to REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Peel back the rear door seaming welt and liftgate weatherstrip.
Pull up the cover in the direction the of arrow shown in the figure.

Remove the bolt, then remove the cargo net hooks.
Remove the fastener.

Pull the trunk side trim in the order of the arrows shown in the figure and detach clips A and B from the body or the C-pillar trim.

Disconnect the cargo compartment light connector. (RH)
When the trunk side trim is replaced, remove the cargo compartment light. (RH) (Refer to CARGO COMPARTMENT LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Install in the reverse order of removal.
