Rear Mount Camera Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the following parts:
    1. Rear combination light (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Rear splash shield (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Rear bumper stay (See REAR BUMPER STAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Rear bumper retainer No. 1 (See REAR BUMPER RETAINER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL .) (See REAR BUMPER INSTALLATION .)
  5. Disconnect the connector and remove wiring harness clips A and B.

  6. Remove the screws.
  7. Remove the rear mount camera.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
