Liftgate Opener Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (Refer to NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Liftgate upper trim (Refer to LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Liftgate side trim (Refer to LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Liftgate recess cover (Refer to LIFTGATE RECESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Power liftgate (PLG) rear switch (with power liftgate) (Refer to POWER LIFTGATE (PLG) REAR SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Liftgate lower trim (Refer to LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Liftgate garnish (Refer to LIFTGATE GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Rear finisher (Refer to REAR FINISHER REMOVAL .)
8. Liftgate opener switch (Refer to LIFTGATE OPENER SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Verify the continuity of liftgate opener switch terminals A and C.

- If not as indicated in the table, replace the liftgate opener switch.
