Front Floor Covering Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front seats. (See FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the second-row seats. (See SECOND-ROW SEAT REMOVAL .) (See SECOND-ROW SEAT INSTALLATION .)
  4. Remove the front scuff plate.
  5. Remove the rear scuff plate.
  6. Remove the console lower cover. (See CONSOLE LOWER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  7. Remove the front side trim. (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  8. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  9. Remove the lower anchor of the front seat belt installation bolt.
  10. Remove the rear side trim. (See REAR SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  11. Remove the long slider cover and adapter cover. (See LONG SLIDER AND ADAPTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  12. Remove the parking brake cover.
  13. Remove the rear heat duct (for second-row seat).
  14. Remove the fasteners, and remove the floor covering.

  15. Remove the floor covering from the vehicle through the passenger-side front door.
  16. Install in the reverse order of removal.
