Rear Side Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Turn the weatherstrip over (liftgate side and sliding door side).
  3. Remove the mat set end plate.
  4. Remove the rear scuff plate.
  5. Pull the cup holder upward, then disengage clips A and pin B from the rear side trim, and remove the cup holder (RH only).

  6. Remove the bolts and fastener.
  7. Remove the tab G by inserting a tape-wrapped screwdriver between the rear side trim and the armrest (vehicles with PSD system).
  8. Pull the rear side trim toward you, then disengage clips C, pin D, tabs E and F from the body.
  9. Disconnect the rear climate control unit connectors and rear tweeter connectors (vehicles with rear tweeter).
  10. Remove the rear side trim.

  11. Install in the reverse order of removal.
