System Tests: Notes
NOTE:
A New Generation Star (NGS) tester and digital multimeter are required for testing power door lock and remote keyless entry systems. After repair is complete, clear any diagnostic trouble codes that exist and recheck system for proper operation.
NOTE:
Keep driver's window rolled down when performing tests to avoid getting locked out of vehicle. Before beginning any testing, ensure battery is fully charged. Lubricate door lock latch and linkage system. Manually cycle door locks 10 times to ensure proper operation.
