Front Active Stabilizer Control Actuator: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH 
   1. Install the 2 front No 1 stabilizer bar bushes outside of the bush stoppers on the front active stabilizer control actuator as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE: Make sure to face the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bush's seam to the lower rear of the vehicle.
2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY 
   1. Temporarily install the front active stabilizer control actuator and the front No 1 stabilizer bracket LH and RH with the 4 bolts
3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
   1. Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 95 N.m (969 kgf.cm, 70 ft. lbf.)

   2. Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 22 N.m (224 kgf.cm, 16 ft. lbf.)

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 
   1. Install the front No 1 stabilizer bracket RH with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 95 N.m (969 kgf.cm, 70 ft. lbf.)

   2. Install the water with motor and bracket pump assembly with the bolt

      Torque: 22 N.m (224 kgf.cm, 16 ft. lbf.)

5. CONNECT FRONT ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR CONNECTOR

   1. Connect the actuator connector labeled A
   2. Connect the actuator connector labeled B.
      1. Connect the actuator connector (*1)
      2. Rotate the lever in the direction of the arrow until a "click" sound is heard. (*2)
      3. Lock the lever's lock. (*3)
   3. Connect the wire harness clamp
6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOLDING LH  (See INSTALLATION )
8. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
   1. Install the front stabilizer link with the 2 nuts.

      HINT:

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

9. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

   HINT:

   Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side

10. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR  (See INSTALLATION )
11. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
12. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH  (See INSTALLATION )
13. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH  (See INSTALLATION )
14. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
15. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP  (See INSTALLATION )
17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
18. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
19. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
20. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
