Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) communicates with the light switch module (LSM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives information from the light switch module (LSM) indicating that it has detected that the switch for the front fog lamps has been activated for more than 60 seconds.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at ignition switch position II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Damaged switch for the front fog lamps
• Fault in the communication with the light switch module (LSM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The front fog lamps do not work.
