Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-3000 is stored if the control module does not register a signal from the camshaft position (CMP) sensor or counts too few flank changes during 5 crankshaft revolutions and / or 2 seconds has passed.

Substitute Value 

Uses the engine speed (RPM) sensor if it functions.

Possible Source 

Signal missing 

• open-circuit in the signal cable
• short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
• short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
• defective camshaft position (CMP) sensor.

None.
