Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-8F2C

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) indicates that the windshield wiper is in "parking position" for longer than 5 seconds and the steering wheel module (SWM) indicates that the windshield wiper should be activated.

Possible Source 

• Damaged windshield wiper motor
• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable
• Open-circuit in the cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Windshield wiper motor does not operate. (The windshield wiper has become stuck on the windshield.)
• No rain sensor function.
