Checking the power supply and ground for the driver door module (DDM)

- Ignition off.
HINT: For information about fuse numbers and the numbering of terminal pins, see appropriate wiring diagram for the relevant car model.
Check that the fuse for the driver door module (DDM) in the passenger compartment fusebox is intact.
Connect a voltmeter between the power supply cable to the control module and ground.
The voltage between the control module power cable and ground must be battery voltage when the ignition is off.
Check the cable between the control module and ground: the left or right front seat support. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.
