Test-ID 01: Catalytic converter monitoring

Test requirements
- There must not be any DTCs stored in DTC memory. Refer to Diagnostic mode 3: Check DTC Memory
- Coolant temperature must be at least 80 ° C. Refer to Diagnostic mode 1: Check measured values
Work procedure
- Read readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, reading
- Let engine run at idle.
- Under address word 33, select "Diagnostic mode 6: Check test results of components that are not continuously monitored".
- Select "Test-ID 01: Catalytic converter monitoring".
- Check specified values at idle.

- Replace the front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter:
- Vehicles with engine code AFP. Refer to Exhaust manifold, front exhaust pipe with Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) and attachments (vehicles with engine code AFP) , item 10
- Vehicles with engine code BDF. Refer to Exhaust manifold, front exhaust pipe with Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) and attachments (vehicles with engine code BDF) , item 14
Vehicles with engine code BJS
- Replace double catalytic converter. Refer to Exhaust manifold, front exhaust pipe with double catalytic converter and attachments (vehicles with engine code BJS) , item 11
Continuation for all vehicles
- Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM). Refer to Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data
- Generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, generating
