T-BOX Battery Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove multimedia head unit. Refer to MULTIMEDIA HEAD UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 0.2 Nm

4. Release the clips holding T-Box battery cover (2) in place to remove it.

5. Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (3).
6. Remove the T-Box battery (4).

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install multimedia head unit. Refer to MULTIMEDIA HEAD UNIT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
3. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
