Multimedia Head Unit Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove instrument panel center screen mount plate. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER SCREEN MOUNT PLATE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Unlock and disconnect 12 connectors (1).

4. Remove 4 bolts (1).

   Torque: 8 Nm

5. Remove Multimedia Head Unit (1). Installation note: Hook in guides (2). 

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install instrument panel center screen mount plate. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER SCREEN MOUNT PLATE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect the Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
4. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING & SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
