Transmission Control Cable Assembly: Installation

INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
1. Put in the transmission control cable assembly to the body.
2. Turn over the carpet and install the No. 2 shift cable grommet retainer with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)

3. Install the transmission control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.
  HINT:
  - Install it with the protrusion facing up.
  - Securely engage the claws.

4. Install the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.
  Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

5. Connect the transmission control cable assembly with a new clip to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE (See INSTALLATION )
