Automatic Transmission Unit - A340F: Installation

CHECK TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH INSTALLATION
Using calipers and a straight edge, measure the distance from the installed surface of the transmission housing to the installed surface of the torque converter clutch.

1. Correct distance:
2. 3RZ-FE: More than 31.75 mm (1.2500 in.)
3. 5VZ-FE: More than 17.95 mm (0.7067 in.)
INSTALL TRANSMISSION
1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal (See REMOVAL ).
NOTE:
- After installation, adjust the shift lever position and throttle cable (See PRE-CHECK ).
- Fill and check fluid lever (See PRE-CHECK ).
