REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSY (See EXHAUST )
REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (See OVERHAUL )
SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH
HINT:

Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT LH NUT (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )

REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT RH NUT

HINT:

Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSY
DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR LH (W/ ABS)
1. Remove the 2 bolts and nut, disconnect the speed sensor rear LH from the upper control arm assy.

DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR RH (W/ ABS)
HINT:

Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
REMOVE FRONT BRAKE SHOE (See ABS WITH EBD SYSTEM - DIAGNOSTICS )

Use the same manner described above to the other side.
REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT SET LH (See PARKING BRAKE )

SEPARATE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
SEPARATE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT:

Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
SEPARATE UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
1. Remove the bolt and nut, separate the upper control arm assy.
NOTE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.

REMOVE REAR AXLE ASSY LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
REMOVE REAR AXLE ASSY RH
HINT:

Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH
1. Remove the bolt and nut, disconnect the rear shock absorber with coil spring.
  NOTE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.

2. Remove the bolt and nut, disconnect the rear side rear suspension arm assy No.1 LH.
  NOTE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.

3. Remove the front side 3 bolts and rear suspension arm assy No.1 LH.

REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT:

Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSY
1. Lower the rear suspension member sub-assy with a jack.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the rear suspension member sub-assy.

REMOVE UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
1. Make matchmarks on the camber adjust cam assy, camber adjust cam No.2 and rear suspension member sub-assy.
2. Remove the nut, camber adjust cam assy and camber adjust cam No.2.

INSTALL UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
1. Insert the camber adjust cam assy from the front side of the vehicle, temporarily tighten with nut through the camber adjust cam No.2.

INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSY
1. Install the rear suspension member sub-assy with 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
  Torque: 105 N.m (1,071 kgf.cm, 77 ft.lbf)

TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
1. Install the upper control arm assy, temporarily tighten the bolt and nut.

INSTALL REAR AXLE ASSY LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )

CONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE NO.4 (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )

1. Connect the speed sensor rear LH with 2 bolts and nut.
  Torque:
  
  A: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
  
  B: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf.cm, 44 in.lbf)

INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT RH NUT
HINT:

Install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH
HINT:

Install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (See OVERHAUL )
FULLY TIGHTEN PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (See OVERHAUL )
INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSY (See EXHAUST )
CHECK FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAKS
STABILIZE SUSPENSION (See OVERHAUL )
FULLY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
1. Fully tighten the bolt and nut.
  Torque: 74 N.m (755 kgf.cm, 55 ft.lbf)
  
  NOTE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and tighten the bolt.
2. Align the matchmarks on the camber adjust cam No.2, fully tighten the nut.
  Torque: 74 N.m (755 kgf.cm, 55 ft.lbf)

FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT:

Fully tighten the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.

INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See ADJUSTMENT )
ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (See ADJUSTMENT )
INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT (See ADJUSTMENT )
CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (W/ ABS) (See PRE-CHECK )
