Service Intervals
NOTE:
As part of the general maintenance requirement for this vehicle, the manufacturer requires checking for transmission fluid leaks.
Under normal operating conditions the manufacturer recommends the transmission fluid be inspected every 30,000 miles. SeeCHECKING FLUID LEVELS .
Under severe conditions (vehicle is used primarily to tow a trailer or haul a car top carrier), the manufacturer recommends inspecting the transmission fluid every 5,000 miles to determine its condition and determine the need for replacement. Manufacturer recommends replacing the transmission fluid at 30,000 mile intervals. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS .
