Was "CVT System Check" performed? |
Go to Step 2. |

ROM communication circuit check
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON", and disconnect TCM and solenoid connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to TCM and solenoid connectors.
- If connections are OK, check that ROM signal circuits (A1 - A3) are as follows.
- Wiring harness resistance of ROM signal circuit is less than 1 Ω.
- Insulation resistance of ROM signal circuit is infinity between solenoid connector and vehicle body ground.
- Insulation resistance of wire harness is infinity between ROM signal circuit terminal and each terminal at solenoid connector.
- Circuit voltage of ROM signal circuit is 0 - 1 V with push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

DTC recheck
- Perform TCM INITIALIZATION AND LEARNING CONTROL .
- Clear DTC. See DTC CLEARANCE .
- Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is in "OFF".
- Perform DTC confirmation procedure and check DTC.
Is there any DTC(s) detected? |
DTC P1824: Substitute a known-good ROM (valve body assembly) and recheck DTC. Other than DTC P1824: Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. |
