DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  DTC check 
Is there any DTC(s) other than P1706? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Go to Step 2.
2  DTC check of ECM 
  1. Check DTC of ECM, see DTC CHECK .

Is there any DTC(s)? 		 Go to troubleshooting for applicable DTC. Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC, see TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
