DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  Was "CVT System Check" performed?  Go to Step 2. Go to CVT SYSTEM CHECK .
2  Primary pressure sensor and its circuit check 
  1. Check primary pressure sensor and its circuit according to Step 2 through 3 of DTC P0842 / P0843  .

Are they in good condition? 		 Go to Step 3. Repair or replace defective parts.
3  Secondary pressure sensor and its circuit check 
  1. Check secondary pressure sensor and its circuit according to Step 2 through 3 of DTC P0847 / P0848  .

Are they in good condition? 		 Go to Step 4. Repair or replace defective parts.
4  Stall test 
  1. Perform STALL TEST .

Is it in good condition? 		 Go to Step 5. Repair or replace defective parts.
5  Secondary pressure control solenoid valve drive circuit check 
  1. Check secondary pressure control solenoid valve and its circuit according to Step 2 through 3 of DTC P0966 / P0967  .

Are they in good condition? 		 Go to Step 6. Repair or replace defective parts.
6  Line pressure control solenoid valves and its circuit check 
  1. Check line pressure control solenoid valve and its circuit according to Step 2 through 3 of DTC P0962 / P0963  .

Are they in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC, see TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . Replace line pressure control solenoid valve (valve body assembly). Refert to VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
