Was "CVT System Check" performed? |
Go to Step 2. |
Go to CVT SYSTEM CHECK . |
| 2 |
Secondary pulley speed sensor power supply circuit check
- Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
- Disconnect "C45" connector.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "C45" connector.
- If connections are OK, push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
- Check that "A1" circuit is battery voltage.
Is it in good condition? |
Go to Step 3. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |
| 3 |
Secondary pulley speed sensor signal circuit and ground circuit check
- Push engine switch to change ignition mode to "OFF".
- Disconnect "E19" and "E20" connectors.
- Check for proper terminal connection to "E19" and "E20" connectors.
- If connections are OK, check the following points.
- Resistance of "B2" and "C1" circuits: less than 1 Ω
- Resistance between "B2" circuit and ground: infinity
- Resistance between "B2" circuit terminal and each terminal at "C45" connector: infinity
- Resistance between "C1" circuit terminal and each terminal at "C45" connector: infinity
- Voltage of "B2" and "C1" circuits: 0 - 1 V (with ignition mode of keyless push start system in "ON")
Are they in good condition? |
Go to Step 4. |
Repair or replace defective wire harness. |

Secondary pulley speed sensor check
- Check secondary pulley speed sensor, see PRIMARY PULLEY SPEED SENSOR AND SECONDARY PULLEY SPEED SENSOR INSPECTION .
Is it in good condition? |
Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC, see TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . |
Replace secondary pulley speed sensor, see SECONDARY PULLEY SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION . |
