DTC Troubleshooting

DTC TROUBLESHOOTING CHART

Step Action YES NO
1  DTC recheck 
  1. Clear DTC, see DTC CLEARANCE .
  2. Confirm that ignition mode of keyless push start system is "OFF".
  3. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE , and check DTC.

Is DTC P0602 still detected? 		 Go to Step 2. Check for intermittent trouble, see INTERMITTENT CONNECTION AND POOR CONTACT INSPECTION .
2  TCM reprogramming check 
Was reprogramming of TCM executed? 		 Execute reprogramming of TCM correctly once again. Go to Step 3.
3  TCM power supply and ground circuits check 
  1. Check TCM power supply and ground circuits, see TCM POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK .

Are they in good condition? 		 Substitute a known-good TCM and recheck DTC, see TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  Repair or replace defective wire harness.
