Central Gateway Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the grille ventilation assembly center. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  3. Remove the grille speaker assembly CTR. Ref. to ENTERTAINMENT & MONITORING>FRONT SPEAKER>REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the panel center UPR or the driver monitoring unit assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>DRIVER MONITORING UNIT>REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the central gateway control module.
    CAUTION: Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the central gateway control module terminals.
    1. Remove the screws and pull out the central gateway control module.
    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the central gateway control module.
