Combination Meter: Removal

CAUTION:
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION
- When the combination meter assembly is replaced with a new part, perform the variant work. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER>REPLACEMENT>VARIANT WORK
- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
- Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
- Remove the cover assembly instrument panel side LH and the ornament panel mid driver assembly. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>SIDE GRILLE
- Remove the cover LWR driver. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER COVER>REMOVAL
- Release the clips, and remove the light holder driver.
- Remove the ornament panel mid passenger and panel assembly center. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>CENTER CLUSTER>REMOVAL
- Remove the cover starter switch. (Model without push button ignition starter)
- Remove the panel starter switch. (Model with push button ignition starter) Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>PUSH BUTTON IGNITION SWITCH>REMOVAL
- Remove the visor assembly.
- Remove the combination meter assembly.CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage the meter glass or instrument panel.
