Rear Seat: Assembly

CAUTION:

If the seating sensor mat is removed, replace the pad assembly and the seating sensor mat with new parts. If the seating sensor mat is reused, the detection may not operate properly.
Do not reuse the hog ring and hang wire.
Secure the hog ring using hog ring pliers.
Securely install the hog rings to the specified points, and make sure that there is no wrinkle or twisting on the cover rear seat backrest.

Assemble the seat surface and the seat pad in the same manner as the front seat. Ref. to SEATS>Front Seat>ASSEMBLY .

Install the hog rings, and assemble the seat surface and the seat pad.

Install the hog rings and wire clip, then install the cover rear seat backrest.
NOTE:
- Do not contaminate or damage the seat surface and seat pad.
- While installing the hog rings, prevent the seat surface from getting wrinkled.
Install the frame assembly rear backrest.
For the backrest LH, install the hog ring, wire clamp and J-fastener. (Models with armrest)

Install the bushing headrest and the bushing lock headrest.
CAUTION: Pay attention to the orientation of the bushing - headrest.

Install the lock assembly backrest rear or the lock actuator assembly backrest rear.
Tightening torque:

Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description". Ref. to SEATS>General Description>COMPONENT>REAR SEAT .
Tighten the fastener on backside of the backrest assembly, and install the plastic fastener.
Install the knob backrest. (Screw-in type)
Install the tether anchor cover.
Install the armrest. (Models with armrest)
Tightening torque:

Refer to "COMPONENT" of "General Description". Ref. to SEATS>General Description>COMPONENT>REAR SEAT .
Install the headrest assembly.
Before installation, check the following items.
- No break and fray on the seat surface.
Install the rear seat. Ref. to SEATS>Rear Seat>INSTALLATION .
