Trunk Panel Lock Assembly: Removal

Removal of trunk cover (Refer to DISASSEMBLY )
Removal of trunk lock assembly
1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Release the claws, and open the cover.
3. Disconnect the cable assembly trunk.

4. Remove two bolts and remove the trunk lock assembly.

Removal of KEY lock trunk
1. Remove 2 nuts and remove the KEY lock trunk.

2. Disconnect the cable assembly trunk.

Removal of KEY lock trunk gasket
1. Remove the KEY lock trunk gasket.

  CAUTION: To prevent water entry, replace the KEY lock trunk gasket with a new one once it is removed.
Removal of cable assembly trunk
1. Release the clamp and remove the cable assembly trunk.
