Rear Drive Shaft: Installation

  1. Select shims. See VTD MODEL , ADJUSTMENT, Transfer Clutch.
  2. Install drive and driven plates.
  3. Insert the rear drive shaft into the center differential assembly.
  4. Combine the transmission case with the extension case, and install rear wheel speed sensor. See INSTALLATION , Extension Case.
  5. Install the transmission assembly to the vehicle. See INSTALLATION , Automatic Transmission Assembly.
