Front Bumper: Removal

CAUTION:
  • Handle bumper carefully to avoid damage to bumper face. 
  • Do not damage body during removal or installation of bumper. 
  • To avoid damage to bumper, lay removed bumper on sheet spread on the floor. Do not lay it directly on the floor. 
  1. Disconnect ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove front fog light. Refer to REMOVAL , Front Fog Light Assembly.
  3. Remove the front grille. Refer to REMOVAL  , Front Grilles.
  4. Remove the extension of both sides.

  5. Remove the seven clips and then detach plate (A).

  6. Remove under cover. Refer to REMOVAL  , Front Under Cover.
  7. Remove the seven clips from under side of bumper.

  8. Turn over the front mud guard of the front portion and then remove bolt.

  9. Remove bumper face and E/A foam.
  10. Remove the four bolts and then detach 1 back beam.

  11. Remove the four bolts and then detach the beam upper.
