Front Door Latch Assembly: Removal

  1. Completely close the door glass.
  2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
  3. Remove the front door trim. Refer to REMOVAL , Front Door Trim.
  4. Remove the sealing cover. Refer to REMOVAL , Front Sealing Cover.
  5. Remove the front inner remote. Refer to REMOVAL  , Front Inner Remote.
  6. Turn rod holder to disconnect joint between key lock and rod.
  7. Turn rod holder to disconnect joint between outer handle and rod.
  8. Turn rod holder to disconnect joint between crank and rod.
  9. Remove the three screws and bolt.

  10. Disconnect the connector. Remove the front door latch assembly (A).
