Rear Speed Sensor: Installation

INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR
1. Wipe the sealant off the speed sensor installation surface using non-residue solvent.
  NOTE: Keep the sensor rotor free of foreign matter.
2. Install the speed sensor onto the rear axle hub in the highest possible installation position.
  HINT:
  
  The distance between the installation holes should be larger on the upper side than the lower side.

3. Using SST and a press, install a new speed sensor into the rear axle hub until it is flush with the end surface of the axle hub.
  SST 09214-76011
  NOTE:
  - Do not use a hammer when installing.
  - Make sure that the sensor probe is free of foreign matter.
  - Press the speed sensor in slowly without turning it.

CONNECT SPEED SENSOR WIRE (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLY
ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE (See INSTALLATION )
INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT

CHECK ABS SENSOR SIGNAL (w/o VSC)
(See TEST MODE PROCEDURE )
CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ VSC)
(See TEST MODE PROCEDURE )
