Cigarette Lighter ASSY: Replacement

NOTE: LOCATION: See LOCATION 
  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (See  AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  ) 
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH NO. 2 (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH NO. 1 (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  4. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE ASSY (See  REPLACEMENT  ) 
  5. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the cigarette lighter cover.

  6. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY 
    1. Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element assy.

    2. Turn the socket in the direction as shown in the illustration, disengage the claw between the socket and the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and pull out the socket.
    3. Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay, and remove the cigarette lighter assy.

  7. INSTALL CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSY 
    1. Align the socket with the notch on the cigarette lighter bezel stay and push the cigarette lighter assy in as hard as possible.
    2. Install the cigarette lighter knob and element assy.
