To remove

  1. Remove the power steering pump, see TO REMOVE TO REMOVE .
  2. Press in the end cover with a puller and remove the circlip through the hole in the pump housing.
  3. Remove the end cover by lightly tapping the pump housing against a vice or similar until the cover comes loose.
  4. Remove the O-ring from the end cover.
  5. Remove the thrust washer and the end cover.
  6. Remove the O-ring from the pump housing.
  7. Remove the circlip from the pump shaft.
  8. Remove the pump shaft with belt pulley.
  9. Remove the rotor, pump vanes, pump ring and inner end plate as one unit.
  10. Remove the pump shaft seal.
