Content Theft Deterrent System Features Customization

Damage or unauthorized vehicle entry will sound alarm and headlights will flash for 2 minutes. To customize these features, enter programming mode. See ENTERING PROGRAMMING MODE  . Turn parking lights on, then off. Count number of chimes. Number of chimes corresponds with mode setting. Turn parking lights on, then off until number of chimes matches desired mode setting. See CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM MODES  table.

CONTENT THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM MODES

Mode Description
1 Not Used
2 (1) Damage Detection Disabled
3 (2) CTD System Disabled
4 Not Used
(1) If trunk lock is tampered with or a door is opened with CTD enabled, alarm will sound and headlights will flash for 2 minutes.
(2) CTD is disabled.
