Removal & Installation
- Carefully remove fuel pressure regulator cover screws. Remove spring and pressure diaphragm assembly. See Fig 1
. Inspect regulator seat in fuel metering assembly for scratches and pitting. Replace throttle body if damaged.
- Install new pressure regulator diaphragm assembly, ensuring it is seated into groove of fuel metering assembly. Install spring and cover. Apply thread locking compound onto cover screws. Tighten screws to 22 INCH lbs. (2.5 N.m). Turn ignition on. Inspect for fuel leaks.
