Removal & Installation
- Carefully remove fuel pressure regulator cover screws. Remove spring and pressure diaphragm assembly. See Fig 1
. Inspect regulator seat in fuel metering assembly for scratches and pitting. Replace throttle body if damaged.
- Install new pressure regulator diaphragm assembly, ensuring it is seated in groove of fuel metering assembly. Install spring and cover. Apply thread locking compound on cover screws and tighten to 22 INCH lbs. (2.5 N.m). Turn ignition on and check for fuel leaks.
