Window Switch Operation

When the ignition switch is in RUN position, battery voltage is applied to the window switches through the circuit breaker, and the pnk wires to the individual switches. When the UP switch in the right front window switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the right front window motor through the Dark Blue wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

The motor is grounded though the Brown wire and the down contact in the right front window switch, Tan wire, and down contact in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window up. When the down switch is operated, battery voltage is applied to the right front window motor in the opposite direction through the Brown wire. The motor is grounded through the Dark Blue wire, the up contact in the right front window switch, the Dark Blue/White wire, and the up contact in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window down. The other windows operate similarly from their individual window switches.
