Left Front Window Switch

When the Ignition Switch is in the RUN position, battery voltage is applied to the left front window switch through the POWER WINDOWS Circuit Breaker and the Pink wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . When any of the UP switches in the left front window switch are operated, battery voltage is applied to the window motor.

The window motor is grounded though the DOWN contact in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window up. When any of the DOWN switches in the left front window switches are operated, battery voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction. The window motor is grounded through the UP contact in the left front window switch. The motor runs to drive the window down. If the left front DOWN switch in the left front window switch is pushed down past the first detent, the window will travel to the fully down position.
