Description

1.

Front camera unit

Refer to Front Camera Unit .

2.

Blind spot warning indicator RH

Refer to Blind Spot Warning Indicator LH/RH .

3.

ADAS control unit

  • ADAS control unit calculates a target distance between vehicles and a target speed, based on signals received from each sensor and switch to transmit a brake fluid pressure control signal to ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) via CAN communication.
  • ADAS control unit transmits engine torque command value, brake fluid pressure control signal, and buzzer output signal to each unit.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

4.

ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)

  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) transmits the vehicle speed signal (wheel speed) and VDC/TCS/ABS system operation condition to ADAS control unit via CAN communication.
  • ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) controls the brake, based on a brake fluid pressure control signal received from ADAS control unit via CAN communication.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

5.

Park/Neutral position (PNP) switch (Back-up)

(with MT)

  • Transmits the reverse signal to the ECM.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

6.

TCM

(with CVT)

  • TCM transmits the signal related to CVT control to ADAS control unit.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

7.

ECM

  • Transmits the accelerator pedal position signal, brake pedal position switch signal, ICC steering switch signal, etc., to ADAS control unit via CAN communication.
  • Controls the electric throttle control actuator based on the engine torque demand received from the ADAS control unit via CAN communication.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

8.

BCM

  • Transmits the turn indicator signal, position light request signal, stop lamp switch signal and brake pedal position switch signal to ADAS control unit via CAN communication.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

9.

Blind spot warning indicator LH

Refer to Blind Spot Warning Indicator LH/RH .

10.

Sonar control unit

  • Based on signals received from the rear sonar sensors, the sonar control unit sends the distance signal to the ADAS control unit via CAN communication for RAB operation.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

11.

Sonar sensor (rear)

  • When a distance from an obstacle is detected, a distance signal is transmitted to the sonar control unit.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

12.

Combination meter

13.

Chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor)

  • Measures the rotation amount, rotation speed, and rotation direction of steering wheel, and then transmits them to ADAS control unit via CAN communication
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

14.

Steering vibration motor

Refer to Steering vibration motor .

15.

ICC steering switch (if equipped)

Refer to ICC Steering Switch .

16.

Sonar buzzer

  • When a distance from an obstacle is detected, a distance signal is transmitted to the sonar control unit.
  • Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

17.

Side radar RH

Refer to Side Radar LH/RH .
