65 82 530 Replacing Most Can Gateway Control Unit

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Lever out lugs (1) in direction of arrow.

Lift housing of control display (1) over catches (2) using special tool 64 1 020  .

Fold up control display (2) in direction of arrow and feed out of MOST CAN gateway control unit (3).

Installation: 

Do not kink ribbon cables (3) when assembling control display (2) and MOST CAN gateway control unit (1).

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove MOST CAN gateway control unit (2) from control display (3).

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming. See VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND CODING .

Observe following IDC specifications:
