32 31 020 Removing And Installing/Replacing Lower Section Of Steering Column Trim

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Move steering column in "top" and "extended" position.
Unclip front section of steering column trim and bring into contact with steering wheel. Refer to 32 31 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN COVER .

NOTE: The front section has been removed to simplify the depiction in the graphics.

Release screw.

Press lower section off steering column with a suitable tool.

Installation:

Replace expansion rivet.
