Test D: Up/Down Lifting Operation Does Not Work Properly
- Perform the Seat Back Control Switch test under COMPONENT TESTS on the left hand seat back control switch. Is the left hand seat back control switch OK? If yes, go to next step. If no, replace the left hand seat control switch.
- Disconnect the left hand front seat motor connector. Apply battery voltage and ground to the wire terminals on the left hand front seat motor connector as indicated below. See DRIVER POWER SEAT MOTOR TEST (LIFTING) . Does the left hand front seat motor operate as indicated? If yes, service the Brown and/or Pink) wire(s) between the left hand front seat motor and the left hand seat back control switch. If no, replace the left hand front seat motor. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
