Test B: Forward/Backward Sliding Operation Does Not Work Properly
- Perform the Seat Back Control Switch component test if the driver's seat is inoperative, and the Seat Regulator Control component test if the passenger's seat is inoperative. See Seat Back Control Switch . Is the control switch in question OK? If yes, go to next step. If no, replace the left hand seat control switch and/or the right hand seat regulator control switch.
- Disconnect the front seat motor connector in question. Apply battery voltage and ground to the wire terminals on the front seat motor connector as indicated below. DRIVER POWER SEAT MOTOR TEST (SLIDING) . Does the front seat motor operate as indicated? If yes, service the Orange and/or Green wire(s) between the front seat motor and the seat control switch in question. If no, replace the front seat motor in question. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
