Automatic locking, function - GF80.20-P-4009GK

MODEL 163 as of 1.12.99 

If the automatic locking function while driving is switched on  the all-activity module (AAM) (N10)  locks all doors automatically as soon as the vehicle speed exceeds the threshold value of approx. 15 km/h.

The AAM recognizes that the threshold value is exceeded by evaluating the front wheel speed signals from the CAN bus.

It is possible to again unlock  the vehicle by shutting off the engine (circuit 15c)  or with the central locking switch (S21s10) 

Switching on automatic locking: 

• Switch on circuit 15c

• Actuate central locking switch (S21s10) in locking direction and hold for approx. 6 s.

  Switching off automatic locking: 

• Switch on circuit 15c
• Actuate central locking switch (S21s10) in unlocking direction and hold for approx. 6 s.

  It is possible to deactivate this function completely with the STAR diagnosis tool.
