Test 5: Activation Of Left Front Power Window Motor By Front Driver Side Door Control Module
- Disconnect left front power window motor connector. Turn ignition to RUN position. Relay in door control module should be heard engaging. Check voltage between left front power window motor connector terminals No. 2 and 5.
- Press back of left front power window switch to first detent. Battery voltage should exist. Press back of switch past first detent and hold. Battery voltage should exist. Press front of switch to first detent. Negative battery voltage should exist. Press front of switch past first detent and hold. Negative battery voltage should exist.
- If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. If wiring is okay, perform TEST 4: LEFT FRONT POWER WINDOW SWITCH . If lower control field control module is okay, replace front driver side door control module.
