Test 4: Left Front Power Window Switch

Connect Hand-Held Tester (965 589 00 01 00). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check left front power window switch values. Press back of switch to first detent. Hand held tester should display DOWN. Press back of switch to second detent and hold. Hand held tester should display AUTO, DOWN. Press front of switch to first detent. Hand held tester should display UP. Press front of switch to second detent and hold. Hand held tester should display AUTO, UP. If values are as specified, replace lower control field control module. If values are not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
