DTC C1A67-9A: Front Radar Sensor Optical Axis Deviation

C1A67-9A: (VCM) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Front radar sensor optical axis deviation
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that the front radar sensor optical axis is deviated while the vehicle is being driven.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VCM] .)
Possible cause
  1. Internal malfunction related DTCs are stored in the following modules.
  2. DTCs are stored in the front radar sensor. (See DTC TABLE [FR] .)
  3. Incorrect front radar sensor installation (Refer to FRONT RADAR SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
  4. Front radar sensor aiming adjustment malfunction (optical axis deviation) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING .)
  5. Front radar sensor malfunction (Refer to FRONT RADAR SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
  6. Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM)) (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
